Act for Congo awards grant to AGIR-RDC

American NGO Act for Congo has awarded a sizeable grant to AGIR-RDC to help people displaced and/or affected by the volcano eruption. With the objective of creating lasting change, AGIR-RDC is focusing on upward mobility and healing in affected communities—a need that they articulated as overlooked by most of the humanitarian sector. Following several weeks of field research and planning, AGIR is ready to commence the project immediately. Our staff and volunteers will be deploying to the field within a week to implement the first phase of the project.
