Modestine ETOY

With more than 15 years of career in the humanitarian world, Mrs. Modestine Etoy is a reference in female leadership within NGOs in the Eastern region of the DRC. Trained as a health worker, she has climbed all the levels, from community animator to Executive Director, team leader and Program Director, she has worked with many segments of the population such as survivors of sexual violence, demobilized armed groups, women domestic workers, displaced persons, victims of various disasters, children working in mines, ... all with the aim of reconstructing these communities. Mrs. Modestine ETOY is currently involved in the institutional strengthening of several local organizations here in the DRC. Her know-how, her knowledge and her great experience is a chance for the numerous organizations and communities of the East of the DRC. Wherever she has gone, the impact of her work has been invaluable. Today we are honored to have her as Executive Director of AGIR-DRC. We wish her a happy Women's Month and wish her prosperity.
